Carol Bartz Resigns From Yahoo's Board of Directors

Carol Bartz has announced her official resignation as Director to Yahoo! Inc's board, according to a Bloomberg report.

Bartz was fired from her CEO seat by Chairman Roy Bostock last Tuesday. This unprecedented ouster also prompted Bartz to accuse Yahoo's board of mistreatment, as mentioned during a Fortune magazine interview. Her indignation was apparent when she referred to board members as "doofuses", and to quote her, "they f---ed me over". After which, she mentioned she will be staying on as Director despite losing her CEO seat.

Following her departure as CEO, Yahoo's stock rose 4 cents to $14.48 on the Nasdaq Stock Market before the markets closed last Friday. Bartz has since stepped down as Director on September 9th.
