Brother Launches New Range of Innovative Inkjet Multi-Function Centres
Brother has launched a new range of inkjet MFCs (Multi-Function Centres). Aimed at SOHO, SMBs as well as home users, the latest series comprises of seven models including three 3-in-1 inkjet MFCs (DCP-J752DW, DCP-J552DW, DCP-J152W) and four 4-in-1 inkjet MFCs (MFC-J870DW, MFC-J650DW, MFC-J470DW, MFC-J245).
The new models are introduced with built-in Brother's Apps, which create time-saving solutions and a more seamless experience working between hard and soft document copies. The apps are complemented by web connectivity and mobile connectivity to support Cloud and mobile printing. It includes the following features:-
- Outline & Copy: Crop/erase a required segment of a document
- Outline & Scan: Crop only the required segment of a document and save in digital format
- Note Scan: Scan and convert handwritten notes into JPEG file. Upload and store the JPEG in cloud-based services or storage media
The flagship model, MFC-J870DW, comes with an NFC feature that allows users to print or scan with a simple tap of selected Android smartphones on the MFC. This allows data to be transferred without the need to set up the wireless application of MFCs.
All Brother Inkjet MFCs use a 4-individual ink system allowing users to replace the specific cartridge that runs out for better efficiency. It also offers an option of standard or high-yield ink cartridges for exceptional print quality.
Offering fast print speeds of up to 12 monochrome and 10 color ppm, the new range also complies with Energy Star standard and features low energy consumption of 0.2W when not in use.
