The flagship model, MFC-J870DW, boasts of a built-in near-field communication (NFC) feature that is unique among inkjet printers. The NFC interface allows users to print or scan with a simple tap of select Android smartphones on the MFC. This allows data to be transferred without the need to set up the wireless application of MFCs.
All Brother Inkjet MFCs use a 4-individual ink system allowing users to replace the specific cartridge that runs out for better efficiency. It also offers an option of standard or high-yield ink cartridges for exceptional print quality.
Speed completes the feature line up in the new cost-effective series, offering fast print speeds of up to 12 monochrome and 10 colour pages per minute. The new range also complies with Energy Star standard and features low energy consumption of 0.2watt when not in use.
