AXS has officially announced its two new payment channels: the AXS m-Station (mobile app) and AXS e-Station (Internet).
Targeting mobile and internet-savvy users, over 80 billing organizations will be available on both new platforms in the initial phase. For the first time, users can access the extensive payment services for bills and fines provided by AXS from the comfort of their homes or while on the move, anytime. Mobile warriors will also be able to store and access past payment history on their smartphones and tablets.
The first phase of the launch will offer bill and fine payment services. AXS aims to progressively include more e-services, including top-up services for telco pre-paid cards, at a later stage. Payment remains simple as AXS has partnered with NETS to offer eNETS debit as the preferred payment mode on the 2 new channels. Users with DBS Bank/POSB, OCBC Bank, UOB or Citibank bank account can use their internet banking log-in credentials to transact on the new channels.
AXS m-Station is created with the smartphone/tablet user in mind. Exclusively available for mobile users, a “My Payments” function is available for AXS users to store and access their billing information and transaction history locally in their own devices, for up to three months. Users can track their payment records, as well as select frequently transacted organisations as their “favorites” to make future payments even faster.
The free AXS m-Station application is available on Apple IOS and Android OS platforms and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store.
From 10 September onwards, the first 50,000 users who make their first payment with AXS m-Station on their mobile devices will receive an eCoupon to redeem a free Ya Kun treat, consisting of 1 hot regular coffee/tea and 2 slices of kaya butter toast at any of the 42 Ya Kun outlets.
AXS e-Station brings all of AXS’ bill and fine services to the fingertips of those who prefer to make their transactions at the comfort of their homes. Users can easily visit AXS e-Station site through the newly revamped AXS website anytime of the day. They will have the option to receive their transaction receipts via email, or keep a physical print-out of the transaction.
In addition to these new channels, AXS users can also choose from the 850 AXS Stations and 150 over-the-counter AXS QuickBill conveniently located island-wide.
