The ASUS ZenBook UX305 Ultrabook has been a stalwart at our local computer shows. In May this year, ASUS updated the series with 5th generation Intel Core mobile processors. Like clockwork, the ZenBook UX305 now sports the latest 6th-gen Intel Y-series Core M processors. Incidentally, the Ultrabook comes in gold; under its hood, it sports a dual-core Intel Core m3-6Y30 CPU, with support for HyperThreading. Its base operating frequency is 900MHz, with a maximum Turbo frequency of 2.2GHz. The gilded device comes with 8GB of DDR3L of RAM, and a 256GB M.2 SSD. Its 13.3-inch IPS display boasts of a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and the Ultrabook has a 10-hour battery life. Priced at S$1,298, it’s available now at all authorized ASUS retailers and ASUS brand stores.

If the specifications of the gold ASUS ZenBook UX305 appear a little thin for you, there’s another SKU that sports a dual-core Intel Core m7-6Y75 CPU, which has a higher base clock speed of 1.2GHz, and a Turbo frequency of 3.1GHz. The storage option has been roughly doubled to a 512GB M.2 SSD, and its 13.3-inch QHD+ display has a maximum resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. However, it doesn’t come in gold (yet), and with its obsidian stone color resplendence, this Ultrabook is available now at S$1,898 from the same retail channels.
