ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime Spotted with New Keyboard Dock
The soon-to-be announced ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime (formerly known as Transformer 2) was caught in a few images showing off a new keyboard dock with a sleek aluminum frame.
According to Android Community, the images were originally found on a Chinese website but they were promptly removed although Notebook Italia managed to save some images.
Compared to its predecessor, the Transformer Prime's new aluminum frame looks much more stylish and appealing. In addition, it sports a new keyboard dock that has black chiclet-style keys.
The 8.3mm thin ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime was first revealed by ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih a week ago at AsiaD Conference. Shih shared details about its specifications, which includes NVIDIA's quad-core processor and a 10.1-inch display. He also stated that the device will be officially announced on November 9th. The company is currently in talks with carriers, hoping to fulfill a Q1 2012 release date for the new tablet loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
