Apple has one more thing to unveil on September 9, the much fabled iWatch
Contrary to earlier reports that Apple's iWatch is delayed due to production issues, it seems that Apple is ready to unveil its wearable device next month.
According to Re/code, Apple had changed its initial plan to unveil the wearable device in October. It now plans to launch the wearable alongside the two new iPhones on September 9.
The wearable device is said to be integrated with Apple's HealthKit and HomeKit platforms. In addition, Re/code believes that media invitations should be sent out "any day now" for the launch event.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Apple had assembled a team of 100 engineers to work on the wearable device. The company also had been applying for the "iWatch" trademark in several countries. It recently hired Patrick Pruniaux, Tag Heuer's VP of Global Sales and Retail, whose experience and connections in the watch industry would be useful in the launch of the new wearable device.
