Since late last year, Samsung and Rovio have been collaborating on the app, which is set to launch worldwide this month. This gesture-based version of Angry Birds integrates the Smart TV's motion recognition technologies, enabling users to launch birds at pigs by gesticulating at bigger and better screens. Also, an Angry Birds animated series is reportedly set to debut shortly after the app. It will be available on a video-on-demand basis.

No mention has been made on a specific launch date nor price for the game, but we understand that it will be available to ES7000, ES8000, and ES9000 series Smart TV users via the Samsung TV App Store.
