Android 4.0 Update Available for Motorola Razr and Razr Maxx

Motorola Singapore today announces the over-the-air Android 4.0 update for the Razr and Razr Maxx smartphones.The Ice Cream Sandwich update will bring a whole new look and feel for the Motorola phones.

For example, users can unlock directly to the camera, text messaging, phone dialer, or home screen. The new Favorites tray will remain visible on every home screen panel, providing four customizable links to apps and contains the All Apps icon for quick access to all the apps and widgets. Users will also gain access to quicker and better phone performance with new and improved features such as instant calls, texts and photos, face recognition and enhanced browsing capabilities.

Do take note that once the devices are updated to Android 4.0, they cannot revert to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Below is a video on setting up triggers and actions in the SmartActions apps to automate your everyday tasks on the Razr and Razr Maxx:
