AMD Set to Release Budget R7 250X Graphics Cards Next Month

According to Videocardz.com, AMD is preparing to refresh its Radeon R7 series with the addition of the R7 250X GPU. It is believed the card is launched in response to NVIDIA’s slated release of its new GeForce GTX 750 Ti GPU.

It is still unclear if the new AMD R7 250X card will be based on the Cape Verde or the Bonaire graphics core. But like the R7 250, it will come with either 1- or 2GB DDR5 of graphics memory. As observed by Videocardz.com, the custom cooler of the Sapphire R7 250X has been redesigned, and its bracket now occupies two slots. It has a recommended retail price of about US$125.
