AMD to Drop Driver Support for Windows XP?

AMD's latest Catalyst drivers, 12.10 and 12.11 Beta both appear to have dropped support for Microsoft's Windows XP OS, with neither set of drivers mentioning the OS in its release notes. Microsoft itself is set to discontinue support for Windows XP on 8th April 2014, and many upcoming PC titles, including Assassin's Creed 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Hitman Absolution, and even software such as Photoshop CS7 won't support XP either.
At the moment NVIDIA drivers continue to support Windows XP.
