Amazon Kindle 3 Gets Software Update

Even though Amazon has announced three new Kindles, it doesn't mean that they will be neglecting the previous generation Kindle (or Kindle Keyboard as it is now known).

The e-commerce giant has pushed out a software update for the Kindle Keyboard and it will be downloaded automatically via Wi-Fi. The update will be installed when your Kindle goes into sleep mode, so no worries about going through a confusing installation process.

The update includes the capability to view and download archived personal documents that you store in the cloud (or Kindle library in Amazon speak), and also keeps track of your bookmarks and annotations.
