Alleged photos of HTC One (M9) leaked, reveals same design with new rear camera
We are just weeks away from HTC's press event at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 and the star product has apparently been leaked.
Thanks to Nowhereelse.fr, we now have a first look at HTC's upcoming Android flagship smartphone. Codenamed Hima or One (M9), it seems to sport a similar design as the current One (M8) smartphone with the metallic chassis, curved back and front-facing BoomSound speakers. The only difference is the larger cutout for the rear camera, which is said to house a 20.7-megapixel sensor.
Other rumored specs include a 5-inch Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) display, Android 5.0 Lollipop, HTC Sense 7, CAT 6 LTE support, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM and a 2,840mAh battery. The UltraPixel sensor is also shifted to the front of the device.
Besides the One (M9) smartphone, HTC is also believed to be unveiling its first smartwatch at the event on March 1st. It's interesting to see how HTC is planning to expand its portfolio beyond just smartphones; it launched RE, a tiny handheld "lifestyle" camera last October.
