Alleged Huawei Nexus phone leaked in 10-sec video
The possibility of Huawei making a Nexus phone this year is gaining ground as a 10-second video of the alleged device is published on YouTube.
Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer alleges that the device shown in the video is the Huawei Nexus prototype which could possibly be modelled after the upcoming Mate 8. As the video quality is bad, it is hard to determine if the device has a metallic or matte rear.
The video also also shows what seems to be a fingerprint sensor on the rear of the device just below the camera module. This looks very familiar to what we've seen on the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 and HTC One Max.
In addition, the device seems to be equipped with a USB Type-C port at the bottom. If this is true, the Huawei Nexus phone will be the second phone after the OnePlus 2 to adopt the new USB port. Check out the video below to decide for yourself:
Google is rumored to be releasing two Nexus smartphones this year with LG and Huawei as its partners. Popular tipster @evleaks claims that the Huawei Nexus will come with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) display, a metallic design, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a fingerprint sensor. It is reportedly coming in Q4.
