SCCP Payment Services has launched Swiff, a mobile payment platform that accepts credit/debit card payments from customers on-the-go, today in Singapore. The platform works through the use of a multi-authenticated plug-in device and app, of which currently runs on iPhone, Android and BlackBerry devices.
Symantec will now include a cross-platform mobile application protection solution to help IT organizations protect and isolate corporate data and applications across both corporate owned and personally owned devices.

As promised during Mobile World Congress 2012, Nokia has pushed a series of updates for its Nokia Maps, Drive and Transport apps to its Lumia range of Windows Phone.
According to research done by Purdue University on Android and Windows Phone handsets, free mobile apps were found to consume more battery than paid apps.
