Apple has invested US$1 billion (~S$1.38 billion) into Didi Chuxing, a Chinese ride-hailing service, similar to GrabTaxi and Uber. Apple CEO, Tim Cook, said that the move, among other things, is intended to help Apple better understand China.
The new mode is currently out on developer’s version of Opera’s browser, and its power-saving feature is able to run 50 percent longer than Google Chrome.

Microsoft is rolling out a Windows 10 update that will allow apps and games based on its Universal Windows Platform (UWP) to uncouple their framerates from the monitor's refresh rate. UWP-based games will also now support AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync for smoother gameplay.
