After 15 years, Winamp is shutting down for good on December 20th, 2013.
One of the biggest mobile app hackathons in the world will be happening in Singapore this weekend, on 23 November and 24 November. The 36-hour hackathon will see developers, designers and entrepreneurs try to build an app that will win them entry into the AngelHack Global Hackcelerator Program.

Google just announced that the Android 4.4 KitKat update will be rolling out to the Wi-Fi models of Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10 from today. Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 versions with mobile data will be getting the update soon.

Parallels has announced Parallels Business Solutions, offering businesses the tools necessary to succeed in a mixed Windows and Mac world.
Twitter (TWTR) shares will soon be traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) for US$26 per share, putting the company's value at US$14.1 billion. It will be offering 70 million shares at the listed price, and have granted underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to 10.5 million additional shares.
