Microsoft will now support RAW format images with Windows Live Photo Gallery 2011 on Windows 7 and Windows Vista. The RAW format is essentially an uncompressed image consisting of captured pixels with a one-to-one correspondence to the camera's image sensor.

PopCap games announces that it has signed a global agreement with Sony Ericsson to pre-load Games By PopCap on Sony Ericsson's Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro.
During Apple's quarterly earning calls on 19th July, the company also mentioned that its updated Mac OS X Lion will be launched on the Mac App Store on 20th July.
