The journey started way before the Windows Phone Summit in June 2012 but nevertheless, Windows Phone 8 has been sort of a fresh restart for the tech giant amidst fierce competition like Android and iOS. Unsurprisingly, the end of this year has sure been a busy period for Microsoft, with a total of four WP8 devices, Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820, Windows Phone 8X by HTC and Windows Phone 8S by HTC, while the Samsung Ativ S is slated to be released by year end.
