Acer's Booth

If you aim to get the best bang for your buck, Acer is always a good choice to start your search with its affordable and competent desktops and notebooks.

A blend of performance and portability, this TravelMate 4720 is a 14.1-inch Core 2 Duo notebook is encased in a magnesium alloy chassis and gets boosted with a free upgrade to 2GB of DDR2 RAM and a larger, 250GB hard drive. All that for $1898.

Featuring an Intel Core 2 Quad processor, 2GB of memory and a GeForce 8600 graphics card, the Aspire M5630 is a multimedia beast going for just $1999. There's even a free upgrade to a 22-inch LCD monitor.

For those looking for a sturdy and versatile notebook at a slightly lower price point, we recommend the Aspire 4920, powered by a Core 2 Duo processor and its Dolby Certified Surround sound system ensures that you'll get the best movie viewing experience on a notebook. At only $1598, this notebook gives excellent value.

aigo's Booth

MP5 is aigo's rather misleading term to describe the RealMedia playback support on its new portable media players.

Here's one of aigo's MP5 players, the P881, which comes with 160GB of storage, more than sufficient for hours of entertainment to relieve your weary commuting.

aigo's range of portable media players, from strictly music playback (ignoring the token video support) to the true video players like the 4GB aigo E898 (which is a scaled down version of the P881).

Despite the number of manufacturers hawking digital photo frames, we have never really bought into the whole idea - mostly due to their premium price. But if you disagree, the aigo A396+ looks attractive enough, with its video playback capabilities and remote control function.
