PC Show 2007 - The Full Story

With over 400 exhibitors showcasing a delectable array of IT products ranging from ultra small Bluetooth earpieces, fashionable Portable Multimedia Players (PMP) to the latest Intel Santa Rosa notebooks with ROBSON technology, the four-day event is already looking to be a massive hit again. Whether it be enhancing your mobile lifestyle or improving the way you relax at home, the PC Show is all suited up to make sure you'll walk away with something in your hands.

 There are a couple of Acer booths scattered around the exhibition hall so you may see the familiar green a few times.

 Acer has three different configurations for its Mini desktop PCs. All of them will use the chassis shown here, with prices ranging from $1399 to 2099. Free gifts include a $50 shopping voucher and a 4GB thumb drive.

 This rugged looking notebook is one of Acer's newer models, the Santa Rosa based Aspire 5920G-302G16, which has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7300 and 2GB of DDR2 memory. It uses an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT chipset so DirectX 10 support is present and Windows Vista Home Premium is pre-installed. The price for this - $2698.

 Targeted at business users, this Travelmate comes installed with Windows Vista Business and is reasonably portable.

 20.1-inch monitors continue to be popular with consumers and Acer's AL2017 is very affordable at only $339. Its native resolution of 1440 x 1050 is however a bit low.

 This 22-inch Acer widescreen monitor is priced competitively at $459.
