LG Expands its High Definition Portfolio

LG's Sensuous Feast Of Sight And Sound

Despite the global economic predicament, LG Electronics has raked in about US$310 million worth of operational profits for the first quarter alone. Expectedly, optimistic vibes were apparent at LG's launch last night, where a number of flat-panel TVs and a smattering of Blu-ray home entertainment systems were revealed. As a matter of fact, LG has big plans to reach out to consumers, with hopes that their customers can identify themselves "emotionally" with the LG namesake.

We understand that LG has played 'peek-a-boo' with a number of LED HDTV models at the recent CES. Sadly, there's still no sign of them on our shores as yet. Anyhow, let's see what LG has to offer on the home entertainment front with their new HDTVs and home entertainment systems over the next two pages.
