HWZ Deal Alert: 27th June 2016 (The Steam Sales Edition)

Got deal, got talk! GDGT! =)

Gamers rejoice, the event that you have all been waiting for is here again! That's right, the Steam Summer Sales is on! Without further ado, let's jump straight into some of the best deals we've found.

Doom

If you like your FPS gory and frantic, Doom is exactly what you need. The game serves up loads of blood and gore, and provides non-stop frantic shooting action. Even though the game was only released in May, Steam has it now for 40% off, bringing its price down from S$79 to a much more palatable S$47.40.

Grand Theft Auto V

Even though Grand Theft Auto is over a year old, it's still a fun game to play. The production of the game is simply out of this world. Grand Theft Auto V provides an engaging story, top notch voice acting, and a super realistic and fun open world to play in. If this game does not rank highly on your list of best games ever made, we cannot be friends. In fact, I don't even want to be in the same room as you. You can get Grand Theft Auto V on Steam with a 40% discount now at S$44.94.

Stardew Valley

Alright, if Doom and Grand Theft Auto V are too violent for you, there's Stardew Valley. Released earlier this year, Stardew Valley is a whimsical RPG-like farming game that has gained critical acclaim for its gameplay and design. It isn't expensive to begin with, but if you have been sitting on the fence, it's now available with a 20% discount, bringing its price down to S$12.

Football Manager 2016

Think you can do a better job than Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United? Or fancy yourself to be the next Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho? Put your football tactical skills to the test with Football Manager 2016. In this game, you assume control of a club (or country) and have to manage all aspects of it including formation and tactics, players, transfers, training, staff hiring, and more. It is available on Steam with a 66% discount, bringing its price down from S$55 to just S$18.70.
