Computex Taipei 2007 - Part 4

A-DATA's Booth

A-DATA's Booth

A-DATA Technology managed to snag a prime spot at Computex, with its booth right smack at one of the main entrances to the hall. The booth itself too is quite large, with many helpful sales representatives ready to share their knowledge of A-DATA's diverse memory based digital products.

Like many memory vendors, A-DATA has DDR3 memory modules on show, like this demo system being overclocked.

Although DDR3 memory modules are not be available yet in retail, DDR2 memory is, and speeds are increasing rapidly, with this Extreme Edition module from A-DATA rated at 1200MHz DDR, incidentally also the highest speed grade from A-DATA.

Manufacturers are all jockeying for position in the next big thing - solid state drives (SSD) and A-DATA has its own prototypes on display. These SATA based SSDs will only be available later this year.

These cute and handy Disneyfied thumb drives from A-DATA should be popular among the young at heart and those who still believe in fairy tales. These drives range from 1GB to 4GB in capacity.
