ASUS' Booth

ASUS booth this year was chock full of goodies.

Workstation version of the popular M2N32 series. The M2N32 WS Professional also uses the nForce 590 SLI, but features nearly ten SATA 3.0Gbps ports and two PCI-X expansion slots.

ASUS P5B Deluxe motherboard features the Intel P965 chipset with an ICH8R Southbridge and is Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme ready. Looks like the board will have two PCIe x16 slots, 6 SATA ports and dual Gigabit LAN.

The P5B-V DH Deluxe sports integrated graphics with the Intel G965 chipset though it still keeps the high end ICH8R Southbridge. The Digital Home portion of this board doesn't refer to Intel's Viiv, but ASUS' own components. The board will come with AP-Solo WiFi capabilities as well as compatible with ASUS FrontLinker media I/O panel.

AMD Socket AM2 demo, but instead of the usual nForce 590 SLI displays, ASUS ran their new CrossFire Xpress 3200 / SB600 motherboard. Similarly, this will feature an 8-phase power design, but it doesn't look like ASUS is using their heat-pipe cooling.

EAX1600XT Dual is CrossFire on a board. Dual DVI and VIVO, ATI fans should start saving up, though it is only an X1600 XT.

NVIDIA's GeForce 7950 GX2 is making its round in the Computex grounds with ASUS showing off their EN7950GX2/2PHT/1G. The design and specifications are identical to the reference board plus HDCP and dual-link support.

Radical new heat-pipe CPU cooler from ASUS. The P5P5-9SB2 seems to be designed for the LGA775 platform with front and back heat-pipes.
