Amazon has announced a new In-App Purchasing (IAP) service, which sought to make it simple for "developers to offer digital content and subscriptions for purchase within apps" in the Amazon Appstore.
Toshiba took the wraps off three of its latest tablet models, which are the Excite 7.7, Excite 10 and Excite 13. All three Excite models run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processors.

Lenovo continues its push into the tablet market with the introduction of the IdeaTab S2109, which is powered by Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich." More importantly, the company claims that the IdeaTab S2109 comes with a 10-hour battery life.
Samsung has announced that the next generation of its Galaxy tablets will be delayed until late April, but they have shown up briefly in US retailer websites, revealing prices of US$399 and US$350 for the 10.1-inch and 7-inch variants respectively.
