According to app analytics company Localytics for Android devices, the US accounts for 59 percent of Google's tablet market. Furthermore, one out of three Android tablets in the US is a Kindle Fire from Amazon.

Announced earlier at the CES 2013, the Acer Iconia B1-A71 is a 7-inch entry-level tablet which comes with a triangular corner grip on the lower left side that improves single-hand usage. It is priced at S$249 (8GB version) with the option to top up your storage with a microSD slot.
Microsoft's 10.6-inch Surface Pro will be on sale in the US and Canada on the 9th of February, a tad later than their promised January launch date. The base 64GB model will be going for US$899, and will be running an Intel Core i5 processor as well as Windows 8 Pro.
Cash-rich Microsoft is said to be in talks to help take Dell private, and might invest up to $3 billion to do so.

Dell today announced the Latitude 10 essentials configuration, in addition to its Latitude 10 standard configuration launched earlier in November 2012. The enterprise-ready tablet option aims to cater to budget-conscious customers, such as schools and small businesses.
