Market research firm IDC released a report estimating global mobile transactions will reach US$1 trillion by 2017. The prediction is largely based on the escalating popularity of mobile payment technology, as well as data from mobile websites.
Facebook recently updated its iOS and Android apps with a couple of new features, including a Share button, in-line friend tagging, and emoji options for messages.
