Ubuntu for Tablets Announced, Developer Preview Available for Nexus Devices on 21st (Updated with Video)
Following its announcement for Ubuntu smartphones last month, Canonical has also announced a new version of its Ubuntu Linux operating system for tablet devices.
ASUS joined the ranks of Samsung and Huawei in offering a tablet with voice call capability. Known as the Fonepad, the 7-inch ASUS tablet is powered by Intel Atom Z2420 processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Hit the link to find out more.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has just been announced in Japan. The tablet comes with high-end specs like a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200p screen, 4G LTE, 8.1 megapixel camera and a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm chip.
HP has just unveiled its first Android product and tablet, the Slate 7. With a starting price of US$169.99, the tablet will go on sale in April.

iFixit has posted a full teardown of Microsoft's latest Surface Pro tablet, finding inside, the 'Cadillac of batteries' but also criticizing its repairability.
If rumors are to be believed, HP might be making a return to the tablet market. But instead of trying to resuscitate WebOS, the new devices will feature Android OS and are expected to be powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 4 chip.
