The latest April 9 update for the Surface RT concentrates on resolving Wi-Fi-related issues, including the longstanding 'Limited' connectivity issue. As part of Patch Tuesday, the Surface Pro is also getting an update.
According to people familiar with the matter, Apple and Yahoo are discussing possibilities for deeper collaboration and integration on iOS.

The pricing details of the Microsoft Surface RT tablet have been revealed, and it looks much more attractive than what we initially thought. The base 32GB model will be retailing for S$668 (without cover) and the equivalent 64GB edition will retail for S$798 at Challenger Funan on April 5, 7pm. More details inside.

Available in Amethyst Gray at S$1,399 from 5 April, the 11.6-inch ASUS VivoTab comes with a leather casing, Wacom Digitizer Stylus and mobile keyboard dock.
Reuters reports that the second generation Nexus 7 will be launched in July with a higher resolution display, a Qualcomm processor and a thinner bezel.

Microsoft has started selling the Surface Pro in China yesterday. In addition to the regular edition that runs Windows 8 Pro, there's a new ‘Surface Chinese’ that only supports the Chinese language, runs Windows 8 (the core version), and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013.
The WSJ published a piece saying that Apple will begin production of a new iPhone in the second quarter of the year, leading to a possible summer launch. However, the really juicy bits came up later in a Branch discussion, which featured tech-writing heavyweights like MG Siegler and John Gruber.
