Samsung Singapore has confirmed that it would be launching the 4G version of the Galaxy Note II later this month. It will come in two colors: white and grey.
Some European users have reported that the multi-tasking mode is missing on their Galaxy Note II units. According to Phone Central, "international units... ship with the earlier firmware, and don't have the multiwindow option yet".

In a move that was largely expected, Samsung has officially filed court papers accusing Apple’s iPhone 5 of infringing its patents.
Besides unveiling their 75-inch ES9000 Smart TV today, Samsung also took the opportunity to showcase their convergence "Smarter Living" services which enable users to seamlessly share multimedia content across devices on different platforms.

While we have gotten several photo leaks of RIM's BB10 L-series devices, its N-series keyboard-armed cousin was nowhere to be seen. Thankfully, images have finally surfaced, specifically leaked screenshots from an internal RIM video.

All three telcos have revealed their price plans for the Galaxy S III LTE. The handset will be retailing from today onwards at all three telcos and Samsung retailer shops.

Instagram has surpassed Twitter in the number of daily mobile users. Instagram now boasts of 7.3 million daily mobile users, while Twitter has about 6.9 million. On top of that, the average amount of time a typical user spends on Instagram is about 257 minutes, compared to 169.9 minutes for Twitter.
Samsung has started sending out press invites for an exclusive launch in New York on the 24th of October. The press invite showcases a picture of a stylus, which gives us a lot of reason to suspect that "The Next Big Thing" is indeed the Galaxy Note II.

Google announced yesterday that its app store, Google Play hit 25 billion downloads. As part of its celebrations, Google is offering selected apps for just 25 cents for the next five days.
