Apple is rumored to be in talks with Beats Electronics co-founders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre to buy the audio accessories company for US$3.2 billion.
Based on leaks and spy shots, LG's upcoming G3 is shaping up to be one of the most powerful Android flagship smartphones this year. Aside from the super slim bezels and cleaner interface, the G3 is reported to come with a host of new imaging features such as a laser beam for better night shots.

Reuters reported that Samsung Electronics has replaced the head of its mobile design team. Chang Dong-hoon is said to have offered his resignation last week. He will be replaced by Lee Min-hyouk, who is the Vice President for mobile design.

Samsung Singapore today announced the launch of the Galaxy S5 LTE in two new colors. There is also a 16GB model of the Galaxy S5 available for purchase.
Samsung has confirmed that it intents to appeal against the US$120 million verdict, claiming that the decision was "unsupported by evidence".
The Korea Herald claims in a report that Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy S5 Prime with a QHD display in June.

A federal court has ruled that Samsung did infringe on several Apple patents and has ordered the Korean tech giants to pay Apple US$119.6 million in damages.

According to Microsoft’s Windows Phone team head Joe Belfiore during his Reddit AMA session, a File Manager function will soon be added to Windows Phone 8.1.
HTC is preparing to launch a "mini" variant of its flagship One (M8) smartphone. An alleged press image of the device, known as HTC One Mini 2, reveals that the Duo Camera feature remains exclusive to the One (M8).
