SamMobile obtained exclusive photos and specs of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Alpha smartphone. Contrary to earlier reports, the Galaxy Alpha is said to be sold as another variant of the Galaxy S5 family.

Apple has released its third quarter earnings report, with the company announcing $37.4 billion in revenue, even with iPad sales figures sliding downwards.
LG Electronics just announced an upgraded version of the G3 smartphone in South Korea. Known as the G3 LTE-A, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.5GHz processor with support for LTE CAT 6 speeds of up to 225Mbps.
