Acer Showcases Mobile Devices at IFA 2013, Including the 4K Video-Capable Liquid S2 (Update: Hand-on Photos)
At IFA 2013, Acer unveils the new 10.1-inch Iconia A3 Android-based tablet with an enhanced cinematic experience; the new Liquid S2 smartphone, Acer's first smartphone with 4K recording; and the refreshed Ezel hinged Aspire R7 notebook with new touch apps and the new Acer Active Pen for more precise touch control.
A listing of the Galaxy S4 LTE-Advanced model (GT-19506) on the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) website indicates that Samsung may be planning to launch it in Singapore soon.

Sony has just announced the Xperia Z1, a waterproof Android smartphone with a 20MP camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2.2 GHz quad-core CPUs, 4G LTE and a 3000 mAh battery. Like the Xperia Z, the Z1 is dust and water resistant.
Google's Sundar Pichai, head of both Android and Chrome, has confirmed that the next version of Android will be release 4.4 and will officially be named KitKat, not Key Lime Pie as previously expected.
