Sony Mobile today announced two new Xperia handsets - the 6-inch Xperia T2 Ultra and the 4-inch Xperia E1. Both smartphones are targeted at the mid and entry-level market segments.

HTC has recently revealed that 2012's flagship HTC phones, the HTC One X and HTC One X+ will not be receiving any further Android updates. The HTC One X+ was released in late 2012, and has only been in the market for about 14 months.

StarHub today launched its new "4G booster" value-added service (VAS) for its mobile prepaid customers. Existing prepaid users do not need to buy a new SIM card to enjoy the VAS.
