Jeff Gordon, HTC's senior global online communications manager, confirmed in a tweet that the One M9 is using the improved version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset known as v2.1. DigiTimes and SamMobile report that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ on 12 August. In addition, both devices are expected to hit retail shelves on 21 August.
