According to rumors, Sony will be unveiling two full-frame mirrorless cameras this week. Using the same E-mount found on Sony's NEX series of cameras, the A7 is expected to use a new 24MP full-frame sensor, while the AA-filter-less A7R will have a 36MP full-frame sensor.

Samsung has just announced (in Korean) a brand new smartphone camera unit with a 13MP sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). Not much is known about the new camera module, but the press release claims that the new OIS can correct camera shake up to 1.5°, better than the HTC One's 1°.

Nikon has just announced their sixth camera in the Nikon 1 mirrorless system series, and it's the first shock-proof mirrorless system camera which can go up to 15m under water without the need for an outer casing. Together with the new rugged camera, Nikon is also introducing two new rugged lenses.

Fujifilm has launched the Fujinon XF23mm f/1.4R lens for the Fujifilm X-series of mirrorless system cameras. The focal length works out to 35mm in 35mm equivalent and means the X mirrorless system cameras will finally have a 35mm focal length to equal that of the X100S, which has a 35mm f/2 lens.
Fujifilm has just announced the X-A1, their fourth mirrorless system camera. It's an entry-level camera which uses the same body as the X-M1, but with a conventional 16MP APS-C sensor rather than Fujifilm's unique X-Trans sensor.

Sony has announced the Alpha 3000, featuring the 20.1-megapixel APS-C Exmor sensor for pro-quality pictures and Full HD video, NEX-5T ultra-compact interchangeable lens camera with large Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and NFC, and the Vario-Tessar T E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS, E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS and E 50mm F1.8 E-Mount lenses.
