At IBC 2013 in Amsterdam today, Sony demonstrated a variety of new value-creating video production solutions. Visitors to the Sony booth will see live 4K production solutions, highly usable IT-driven systems and services, and an HD product line positioned at the core of today’s media industry.
SanDisk has just announced a 256GB CompactFlash card, double the storage of the previous model. The new Extreme Pro card can write at speeds of 65MB/s and transfer at speeds up to 160MB/s.

Olympus has revealed a brand new flagship camera, the OM-D E-M1, scheduled for release in November. The E-M1 features a new sensor, 5-axis image stabilization, a built-in EVF and a combination AF system which allows it to mount the Zuiko lenses from Olympus' Four Thirds system.

Sony has just announced their new HDR-MV1, a "Music Video Recorder" that has been specially designed for recording and sharing music performances in Full HD.

Sony is expected to announce two 'lens cameras' at the upcoming IFA event. According to rumors, the DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 are equipped with their own sensor and zoom lens, and can be attached to a smartphone and controlled via a mobile app.
