Sony today announced a broadened and deepened lineup of 4K-capable equipment that will simplify the creation of a wide variety of 4K productions, including (but not limited to) two new CineAlta 4K cameras – PMW-F55 and PMW-F5, a HXR-IFR5 interface unit, and a 30-inch 4096 x 2160 resolution monitor - PVM-X300.

Nikon released the Nikon 1 V2 today, the latest addition to its popular Nikon 1 V series of advanced camera with interchangeable lens, as well as its Speedlight SB-N7 accessory.
Nikon expands the 1 NIKKOR lineup with three dedicated lenses - a 32mm f/1.2 medium-telephoto fixed focal length lens, a Vibration Reduction (VR) equipped 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 ultra wide-angle zoom lens and a compact and lightweight 10-100mm f/4-5.6 10x zoom lens.
Compatible with the Nikon FX format, the the AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/4G ED VR lens covers the 70 to 200mm range of focal lengths with a fixed maximum aperture of f/4.

Lytro has announced the availability of manual controls in its camera, for new cameras purchased and as a free firmware update for existing customers.
Canon's first mirrorless system camera, the EOS M, was announced back in July and we've just received word that it will be in stores this Saturday. The local retail prices have also been confirmed.
