Ars Technica has a chilling report on the men who spy on women through their webcams. Using a remote administration tool (RAT) which gives them access to a notebook's screen, webcam, files and microphone, hackers grab these women's images using the webcam and also steal their photos off their local drives.

Today, Dell will be introducing an option for a Full HD screen on its XPS 13 Ultrabook. In addition to higher resolution and more screen real estate, the Full HD screen also offers a higher color gamut, wider viewing angle and increased brightness.
In the past few weeks a video had been doing the rounds showing a new Google notebook with a high definition 2560 x 1700 resolution screen. That devices has now been announced to be the Chromebook Pixel, the first notebook to be fully designed by Google.

Recent talks of Dell going private turned out to be true after all with Dell entering into an agreement to be purchased back for US$24.4 billion by Dell's founder and CEO, Michael Dell in partnership with private equity firm Silver Lake, and with assistance from Microsoft and other financing institutions.
Panasonic has announced the Toughbook CF-AX2, its lightest business rugged convertible Windows 8 Pro Ultrabook, and the Toughbook CF-C2, its first semi-rugged Windows 8 convertible PC.
