Toshiba has recently revealed the world's first 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels resolution) notebooks at CES 2014 -- the Toshiba Tecra W50, a thin-and-light 15.6-inch professional mobile workstation, and the Toshiba Satellite P50t, a 15.6-inch thin-and-light consumer notebook with a touchscreen.

While AMD executives were busy focusing on their APU strategy for the desktop, gaming and mobile space, they also managed to make a quick update of three new GPUs to join the notebook mobile Radeon graphics line-up. But are they really new? We give you our findings.
The newly launched Aorus X7 is touted by Aorus to be the thinnest and lightest GTX SLI gaming notebook on the planet. It weighs only 2.9kg and measures 22.9mm thick, and is powered by a pair of NVIDIA GTX 765M GPUs for extreme gaming performance.

Sure, we've seen dual-booting Windows/Android hybrids before. But convergence just got real at CES, as both Intel and AMD confirmed plans to help PC makers shoehorn Android onto Windows devices.
Lenovo has revealed a slew of products that shows their commitment to multimode computing. There's the Lenovo Yoga 2, Miix 2 and Horizon 2, all of which are improved follow-ups to popular products released last year.
Sony has just unveiled the 11.6-inch Vaio Fit 11A convertible ultra-portable notebook. This device is essentially an 11-inch version of the recently released Sony Vaio Fit series of convertible notebooks, with the only difference being its Intel Bay Trail-M processor.
ASUS has just announced the existence of the ASUS Transformer Book Duet (TD300), a hybrid Ultrabook that is able to quickly switch to Android in just four seconds, without having to connect to its keyboard dock. This means that the Android operating system will be able to fully utilize the full power of the Duet's fourth generation Intel Core U-series processor.
Toshiba has recently just launched the Toshiba Chromebook, the company's first Chromebook, and the world's only (for now) 13.3-inch Chromebook. The Toshiba Chromebook features an Intel Celeron (Haswell) processor, as well as 2GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD.

Lenovo has just announced the existence of two 28-inch 4K LCD monitors, the ThinkVision Pro 2840m, and the ThinkVision 28, an 8-inch Windows 8 business tablet (with an Intel Bay Trail processor) and a new redesigned Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon business Ultrabook.
