Ad Details

My friend recently brought 2 SL150s (black/chrome and white/black) back from the UK as a Christmas present for me and I decided I liked the white/black one more and decided to let go of this set. I am not trying to earn much out of this and I believe retail stores in Singapore are selling it at above $300? So I'm pricing it at much lower. The box is completely sealed and I didn't want to take out the plastic as to prove that it is really brand new and not opened before at all.

What I like about my white/black headphones is that the look of it is really modern and futuristic and cool, like an updated and trendier Beats by Dre, and not to mention real comfortable as well. The exterior is made of good quality plastic and the interior headband is what provides the comfort. I saw an interview somewhere that says that the cross-stitching on the headband was inspired by the interior of the Bentley GTR. No idea whether thats true or not. Also, while wearing it it sits nicely on my ears while I was walking, taking bus or using it at the gym, really sturdy and doesn't move around. It is foldable and thus portable and is stored in a hard shell casing that provides great protection for the headphones.

As for the sound, to me thats actually the most important thing about the headphones other than the look, but the sound is really what I think is the best part of the headphones after using my own pair. The sound is all round evenly balanced and very clear, namely the highs, mids and bass. The bass is punchy but not overpowering and the mids and highs are crisp and clear that doesn't sink in but rather supports the overall balance of the sound. I do not have the Beats but if you want to compare both, the Beats emphasize an overpowering bass (predominantly for hiphop music) while Souls are made for all types of genres that emphasizes a balanced sound throughout. So these headphones would be perfect for you if you listen to a variety of music across different genres. Regarding the sound leakage, reviews have mentioned that the sound leakage is very bad but after experimenting with it I realized the sound leakage is caused by turning the volume all the way up to full. Unless you wish to become deaf after a few years I would not recommend listening to Souls at full volume. I listen to it at half and for me it is the right volume and theres isn't much sound leaking at all. It is actually not a very big issue.

Other misc stuff provided includes a free hardshell case, 2 audio cables (1 spare), gold plated adapter and a clothing cloth.

I'm only interested in selling to INDIVIDUALS so if you are interested in buying it other than using and appreciating its great sound and design please don't contact me. If you are interested please PM me. Also let me know if you need other details. Thanks.
