My dell xps 1645 does not support mSATA on Mini-PCIe Port.

If you have 2nd Generation intel i3,i5,i7 i.e. SandyBridge or beyond that then you are very lucky to use this drive.

This can act as a primary boot drive for you to speed up your os and programs and you can keep the data on your mechanical HDD.
