Retail prices and storage capacity of Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus leaked

Apple is likely to retain the same pricing model for its new iPhones.

Despite the ongoing turmoil in the financial markets which affected currency rates, Apple is said to be maintaining the same pricing model for its new iPhones. According to Techtastic, sources have obtained the pricing for the new iPhones:

  • Apple iPhone 6S (16GB) - €699
  • Apple iPhone 6S (64GB) - €799
  • Apple iPhone 6S (128GB) - €899

  • Apple iPhone 6S Plus (16GB) - €799
  • Apple iPhone 6S Plus (64GB) - €899
  • Apple iPhone 6S Plus (128GB) - €999

Apple is still offering the iPhones in the three colors (space grey, silver, gold) and storage capacity (16GB, 64GB and 128GB). It's rather disappointing to see Apple still offering 16GB as the base storage capacity since consumers will have less usable storage space out of the box. Samsung has already switched to 32GB as the base storage option for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 series although the removal of the memory card slot is heavily criticized.
