M1 Data Passport available in five more countries

M1 postpaid customers can now use their data bundle in even more countries with Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan added to M1's Data Passport value-added service.

First launched in July, the M1 Data Passport allows M1 postpaid customers to use their existing data bundle overseas at a monthly subscription rate of S$10 per country.

The new destinations join the original six launch countries: Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and the United States.

“Customers have told us how they appreciate our M1 Data Passport’s ability to enable them to enjoy the full mobile experience, the way they do at home. We hear them, and since the launch of the M1 Data Passport last month we have continued to further extend this service. Today, I am pleased to announce that the M1 Data Passport is now available in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, bringing peace of mind to M1 customers travelling to these five popular additional destinations,” said Mr P. Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer, M1.
