Canon IXUS 950 IS Digital Camera
We're convinced that the world would be a less colorful place without Canon's Digic III processor, which incidentally is found in all their new cameras including this dainty little number. With 8.0 megapixels, a sleek ergonomic build as well as shockingly good image stabilization, you'll be hard pressed to find many equally spec'ed compacts with the performance of the 950IS.

Canon PIXMA MP970 Photo Printer
Don't be fooled by its boxy form factor, it's not a laser! The Canon PIXMA MP970 is a multifunction inkjet device which simply excels in photo printing. Practically everything printed from the MP970 just looked gorgeous. 9600 by 2400 dpi is the maximum resolution that the PIXMA gives with its 7 individual ink tanks. What's more, with its generous 3.5-inch screen real estate, you won't need to use a computer to do the printing. Don't forget the MP970 also doubles up as a swell document printer and copier/scanner as well.

Canon PowerShot G9 Digital Camera
Whether you're a professional photographer searching for a backup or an enthusiast with big aspirations, the G9 has a lot to offer in a small package. Ruggedly assembled with 12-megapixels under its belt and a plethora of manual controls, RAW file support and excellent image quality make this compact versatile prosumer camera has a lot going for it. The included flash mount also gives you some additional flexibility should you need to shed a little more light on things.

Lexmark X9350 Wireless MFP
Don't let its low price deceive you as the Lexmark X9350 packs more of a wallop than many more exorbitantly priced models. Scan, print, fax, copy and then marvel at its lack of a USB connection. Connecting via good old Wi-Fi, the 9350 allows for a truly affordable wireless solution for multi-PC homes with consistently sharp outputs.

Sennheiser PXC 450 Noise Canceling Headphones
Not a big fan of noise cutting your favorite track short? Join the club and take a look at the PXC 450, a noise-canceler that actually works, with over-sized ear pads and a solid foldable design. While it will set you back a tidy sum of money, the sheer efficacy of the noise reduction circuitry is enough to get us hooked. What we particularly loved was the Talk Through switch which will help people from losing their heads trying to talk to you. What about audio quality? Fit for an audiophile we say.

Panasonic Diga DMR-BW900 (Blu-ray recorder with 1TB HDD)
Last year's BW200 model supported DL BD-R/BD-RE writing at 4x write speed with a 500GB HDD. This year's flagship BW900 ups drive capacity to a whopping 1TB and most importantly, supports MPEG-4 AVC encoding for recording HD content (up to 1080p). What this means is a single 50 GB dual-layer disc can record up to 18 hours of 1080p content versus just 4 hours using standard MPEG-2 that most recorders can handle. The 1TB HDD gets you up to 381 hours of Full HD video storage. While Sony's BDZ-X90 too has similar capabilities, it tops out at 500GB and Sharp's 1TB model doesn't support MPEG-4 AVC encoding. Available only in Japan at US$2,600, this Blu-ray recorder is paradise for those who can afford the Full HD lifestyle.

Fuji Xerox Phaser 6360
This chunky SMB class color laser printer has ease of use in mind with a very straightforward user interface, easy access maintenance, and easy paper handling upgrades from its default 550-sheet paper tray up to 2350 sheets with multiple paper tray units should the organization's needs arise. But what got our hearts racing were the Phaser's extremely speedy printouts - so fast that we wanted to stick on race car decals all over it. This Speedy Gonzales doesn't disappoint in the quality department either as it churned some of the cleanest and sharpest prints for its segment. Despite being an office printer, it dished out beautiful color prints too, making the Fuji Xerox Phaser 6360 a real ace of business printers.

Samsung CLP-350N Color Laser Printer
AA slightly bigger brother to the word's smallest color laser printer (CLP-300), the CLP-350N from Samsung targets both the individual and SOHO segment with this fast, quiet and still compact printer. Equipped with much more internal memory, built-in Fast Ethernet interface for networked environments and larger toners for larger print volumes, this is an ideal printer for obtaining high quality printouts at low costs for small offices requiring low to medium volume handling. Coupled with a great price, this is one printer that's hard to give it a miss, even though it looks a tad boxy.

HP LaserJet P1006 Mono Laser Printer
The HP LaserJet P1006 is a chic petite looking personal business laser printer that's not only friendly on the wallet, but also user-friendly and fast. Using the new CPT mono toner technology, it can deliver quality prints at 16 pages per minute with the first page out in less than 8.5 seconds! And thanks to the new toner element, the printer uses less power, uses smaller toner cartridges and hence a very compact overall build that it can vie for the spot of being the world's smallest mono laser printer. Hats off to HP in raising the bar on entry-level laser printers.

Samsung SyncMaster 226CW 22-inch Widescreen LCD monitor
Simple, functional and elegant in design, this 22-inch widescreen panel boasts being able to display 97% of the NTSC color gamut for CCFL displays. And true to its claim, the difference was immediately evident as we were pampered with an excellent viewing experience with rich and vivid colors. Text too was sharp and easy to read all the way down to a 9-point font size. Movies and games were a smooth affair too as the panel was rated for an extremely fast 2ms response time. Price was expectedly on the higher end, but once you experience its goodness, you won't hesitate one bit.
