The Sony VAIO C

Unmistakably one of the more outstanding and trendy notebooks of the year, the Sony VAIO C will appeal strongly to the younger crowd with its wide range of colors and accessories. But what makes the notebook extra appealing was a host of features that balanced mobility with performance.

Targeted at the young and trendy, the unique Sony VAIO C notebooks can be expressed with matching accessories that are available separately.

One of the funkier features of the Sony VAIO C include a dimpled palm rest that is as sexy as it is comfortable.

The Sony VAIO C series comes in two flavors. The VGN-C15GP with an impressive Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 (1.66GHz) processor, 13.3-inch LCD screen, 80GB of HDD space, 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, DVD burner and NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 with 256MB TurboCache. The VGN-C13G that comes almost similarly decked out, but with an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 instead of NVIDIA discrete graphics.

The Sony VIAO C comes in five unique colors: Seashell White, Espresso Black, Spring Green, Blush Pink and Urban Gray. These colors are not normally part of the standard color palette and were conceived specially for the Sony VIAO C notebooks.

Unfortunately, only the more modestly specced VGN-C13G will come in all five colors while the VGN-C15GP will only be available in Espresso Black and Seashell White. The VGN-C15GP will be available this month at the recommended price of S$2,499 and the VGN13G at S$1,999.
