Lenovo and Linksys Booths

Lenovo's Booth

For your next desktop purchase, there's the Lenovo booth to visit. Pictured here is the Lenovo IdeaCentre H210. It comes with modest specifications that include Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor E2200 (2.2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cache), 1GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB SATA HDD, and a 19" LCD monitor for your Intel Graphic Media Accelerator X3100. And modest is its price too, at S$799 with the option to upgrade to a 3-year on-site warranty for an additional S$169.

But if it's a notebook you're seeking, check out the Lenovo IdeaPad Y430, priced at S$1699. With that pricing, you'll get the following configuration on your IdeaPad: Intel Centrino 2, Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8400, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, 320GB SATA HDD, an nVidia GeForce 9300M 256MB and a 6-cell Li-ion battery. Quite a good deal, we might add.

The Lenovo X300 makes an appearance at SITEX 2008. Though not listed in the brochures, we managed to get the SITEX pricing for the X300: a cool S$2999, which is one of the many deals that can be found at SITEX 2008. So for the traveler who wants a light notebook with the power to perform, it's the X300 or nothing.

And, it's another netbook! The Lenovo IdeaPad S10 was just recently introduced, and for all you netbook fans, you can gets this Intel Atom based device, starting from S$749. Other specifications on this netbook include a 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, 160GB HDD, Intel GMA 950 and a 3-cell Li-ion battery.

Linksys's Booth

Upgrading your current router for something faster? Or needing a new one? Well, it's time to pop by Linksys's booth at Sitex 2008 then.

Now, if you just need another router and you know you're not going to need a top of the line system, then check out the $69 WRT54G2 that also comes with some early bird specials (1st 50 customers every day) like a free Kingston 1GB USB MicroSD reader/card.

Something faster perhaps? Like a Wireless-N router? Then the WRT160N should do the trick with its $119 price point.

Folks who can't settle for anything but the best (and expensive) should take a look at this simultaneous dual-N band wireless router, the $259 WRT610N.

So, you've got all your routers set up and good to go, but nothing to use it for? Fret not folks, there's always the $299 Linksys Media Center Extender (DMA2100) that allows you to stream videos from your computer to a wide screen 80-inch television to watch!
