ASUS' booth this year is focusing on a mobility theme.

The ASUS A8 series of gaming notebooks were also on display. Models offered from the AMD Turion 64 X2 based A8M to the Intel Core 2 Duo based A8FM and A8J notebooks all come with large 14.1-inch WXGA LCDs, 512MB to 1GB of RAM and choices of Intel 945GM, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 or ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 GPUs. Prices range from S$1698 to S$2698.

The ASUS R1 Tablet PC on display has a 180-degrees convertible LCD and powered by Intel Core Duo or Core 2 Duo processors.

The R2 UMPC was also under lock and key, showcasing the ultra mobile 'always on-the-go' lifestyle.
