As mentioned, you won't be noticing any major design changes with the newer ASUS Eee PC 901 apart from the new glossy surface. Of course, that's not to say ASUS hasn't done any tweaking to the Eee PC 901; they did improve the touchpad somewhat. The awkward buttons have been replaced with buttons that flow nicely with the unit, and the trackpad seems more flushed with the surface and gives the illusion of a larger area to work with.

Looking all glossy and fingerprint smudged is the new look for the Eee PC 901.

The web-cam of the Eee PC 901 uses the same 1.3-megapixel of the Eee PC 900.

Also new to the Eee PC 901 are these four shortcut buttons that allow you with one touch to turn off the screen, adjust the resolution, toggle the Super Hybrid Engine function and access the Skype VOIP program.

The trackpad has also been improved with a nicer design and the left and right buttons are much easier to press.

Lastly, the changed hinges reflect a more elegant look that blends in well with the new glossy surface.
