Shining Stars of LG Mobile

LG Shine

The above banner was seen in nearly all LG facilities visited by the press. There really is no doubting LG's conviction to become a top three brand by 2010.

Fueled by the success of its Chocolate phone, LG is now on the offensive and quite aggressively as well judging by their revised sales figure. The Korean electronics giant is targeting sales of 78 million handsets worldwide, including more than 13.5 million GSM units in Asia, the Middle East and Africa in 2007, which represents a staggering 113% increase over 2006.

Photographers and journalists were sent into a snapping frenzy the minute the LG Shine was brought out into the open.

It may be made with stainless steel but the Shine (KE970) is by no means a heavy phone. If anything, we were impressed by the build quality and the heightened sense of sophistication the first time we laid our hands on it.
