We stumbled upon a huge 1080P 42-inch monitor/HDTV at SEK2006 and boy were we impressed with the sharpness and depth of what we saw.

Intel was in on the action going on at SEK2006, showcasing and propagating their take on model living of what future home entertainment is to be.

PaxDisk (Samsung too) displayed several high capacity solid-state NAND flash memory cards of up to 32GB. Imagine having that kind of storage as a thumbdrive - of course, it would be a really really expensive thumbdrive at that.

Football fever was naturally on the high side and SK telecoms sure knows how to draw attention to their booth - it's rather unfortunate that South Korea has been booted out of World Cup 2006.

As interesting as the Sticksound USB soundcard was, we couldn't quite figure out a widespread use for it, especially not when nearly all devices with standard USB ports already have built-in audio.
