Quick Analysis
StarHub offers the best deals for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 if you are planning to sign up for the basic, mid or high-tier plans. Although the total cost of ownership for M1's ExtremeSurf+ is the same as StarHub, the latter has 1GB additional data for consumers. However, this does not apply if you are an existing M1 customer as you will be given 1GB free data every month.
M1 offers a better deal at the premium plan category as its monthly subscription is lower than the other two telcos.
*Update on 24 September 11.30 AM : Do note that for all three telcos, re-contract vouchers are given to existing customers on the premium plans. SingTel and StarHub are offering $500 re-contract vouchers while M1 is offering $300 re-contract vouchers. Even if we take into account the vouchers, it will not change the fact that M1 still offers the best deal for the premium plan category.
Getting the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 without Line Contract
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (32GB) is available without line contract from 28 September at a retail price of $1,048. Its accessories are available at launch, which include the following:
- $68 Flip Wallet (available in Jet Black, Classic White, Wild Orange and Indigo Blue)
- $88 S View Cover (available in black and white)
- $68 desktop dock
- $78 extra battery kit (which includes an extra battery and a charger kit.)
