If you are thinking that the Splinter Cell 3 graph was incorrectly plotted, we assure you that it is spot-on. Now the results of the Quad SLI setup are actually on par with a single GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics card and how could this be? An overlay check of the SLI mode used revealed that Splinter Cell 3 was operating off standard AFR mode and we couldn't force it otherwise. Thus the secondary GeForce 7950 GX2 in this game was practically a sitting duck.

F.E.A.R was however the exact opposite of the Splinter Cell, registering huge gains between 50% and 60% at the highest resolution with maximum image quality settings. The gains were quite expected since F.E.A.R is known to be one of the most graphically challenging games at the moment. However for those hoping to see closer to double the gains would do better to think twice of the whole SLI scheme of things. With double the graphics cards comes double the management, thus the return of investment is generally not that effective. However it's still reasonably good and definitely besting whatever graphics card solution there is available. Gains over the GeForce 7900 GTX in SLI averaged between 30% to 40% at most however and you would have to bear in mind that these cards have far faster clock speeds to narrow the gap between it and the GX2 in Quad.
