More P35-DQ6 Features

New Exclusive DQ6 Features

Gigabyte's main features for the new DQ6 is an updated Ultra Durable 2 design. Besides all solid capacitors, the new board will also feature Ferrite chokes (as opposed to Iron), which is more energy efficient as well as Low RDS(on) MOSFETs that produces less heat.

Same 'old' LGA 775, same 'old' 12-phase PWM, now enhanced with Ultra Durable 2 features.

Gigabyte's Silent-Pipe system is becoming more and more elaborate.

Concept design for a new luxury hotel or the Northbridge portion of the Silent-Pipe cooler?

Lots of additional fins to take care of the increased heat-pipes available.

A rather stylized Crazy Cool backplate adorns the P35-DQ6, but notice that this version is no longer connected to a heat-pipe.

Storage, Audio and LAN

Gigabyte seems to be using a brand new Realtek audio CODEC here. According to the box information, the ALC889A has DTS Connect features and a 106dB Signal to Noise Ratio.

Abandoning their over-the-top quad LAN design, the P35-DQ6 will only feature one Gigabit LAN port controlled by a Realtek RTL8111B ASIC.

TPM header spotted. Looks like the board will support TPM modules.
